Duquesne junior distance runner Jim Spisak wrapped up the 2012 season with a 13th place finish in the 5,000 meter run at the 2012 NCAA East Regional at the University of North Florida. Spisak, who finished with a time of 14:12.87, was one spot shy of qualifying for the NCAA Championship. The top five runners from each of the two heats advanced as well as the next two best times. He had the eighthbest time in the 48runner field, but the seven ahead of him were all in his heat.
